RUCKSACK

Air travel gives one a new perspective for earthly evaluation.. From above cities; they look like a mold that’s growing on the global surface.. it seems as if a good squirt of formula 409 would clean them up, if not efface them altogether. I look out the portholes of the aircraft and the surface of the earth moves slowly under the lens... I think below of the new computer networks going up, WLAN, fiber optics, all the electrical systems across the land, laid out like gridwork, all the fragility of the infrastructure, the roads and the water mains. The buildings in rows.. the zoning laws that determine the cosmetics of the land.. all this seems so absurd at altitude... why does altitude add an element of fragility?? what if we were to set down on that soft looking condo complex.. it wouldn’t be so bad.. that field of trees looks like down comforters... at night the surface of the earth’s American soil is awash in an orange hue the color of creamsicles. The burnt umber epicenters dot the interstate highways and denote parking lots. They guide the cars and deter thieves from construction sights... you never really notice them on the ground though.. it’s as if you have to distance yourself from the earth a bit to see their effect.. on the surface, they are ubiquitous as oxygen.. it’s at height where they lack, when they become prevalent. the larger pattern revealed.. I have never noticed them because I’m never without them down there.

A good philosophy: A fine bag should be viewed as a fine friend. Feels good to be with, whatever the situation. Will only let you down if you treat it with extreme disrespect. Based on elements of the past and features now required, the Vael Rucksack has a large main compartment, simple strap architecture, and a water-resistant zipped lid compartment.
