TOTE
MOCCA / COPPER
Yesterday went a little something like this. After arriving on a late flight from Asia at 12:30 am I pushed my cart full of luggage to the Mietwagon (rental car), or MEatwagon as I like to call it. Landing in Munich was absurd in the first place. You see, my samples were just outside of Venice in a shithole factory town more than 7 hours away. My meeting was in Garmisch, an hour and a half from where I was starting. If I had known the stuff was going to be late I would have flown into Venice or Milan. But I didn’t. Now I need to do a middle of the night run down the A37 through Brenner pass, down to Treviso. My cig puffing Italian friend is going to meet me on the Autostrada at one of those fucking Lotto highway places. Actually the Italien food at those places is better than most itlaian restaurants I’ve been to in the US. The atmosphere of hairy italan truckers and squat toilets is a bit worse, but the lasagna is excellent. Anyway, the handoff would be made, the espresso would be downed, and 7 hours later I would be back where I started. Simple.
We call it a Tote, but it’s really a small messenger bag. Perfect for an everyday or as an excursion satellite. A simple large compartment securely covered with full-grain leather flap. Trimmed with copper or black chrome (white edition). Will just fit a vertical 14”. Not padded.
